I live in Charlottesville, VA, with my wife and three children. I work as a software engineer at the University of Virginia, where I build digital preservation systems for a number of universities and libraries.

In May of 2015, I published the novel Warren Lane, a smutty, comic, melodramatic modern noir. My second novel, the mystery/suspense Impala, won the 24th Annual Writer’s Digest Award for Genre Fiction, was named a best book of the month by Amazon.com, and a best of the year by IndieReader. I’ve just finished a third book, a mystery, with the working title gate 76.
